The battle that was taking place at Orange Star City was becoming an all-out war now with flames and explosions going off by the second, the battle field was slowly growing by the second and was soon to engulf the whole city. The vindictive red ribbon army was starting to make major advances as they persisted on destroying the full blooded Saiyan warrior Bardock and the younger hybrid Gohan although the two had managed to destroy every mechanical machine that they had been sent to the city thus far. Things were looking dim for commander crimson as he was faced with fighting a Saiyan who had managed to unlock the legendary power of his race.

Gohan had really been severely injured as took quite an intense blow from the headless droids. Under normal circumstances the eldest son of Goku would have been able to take out the driod bots no problem but the fact was his transformation was begging to take a toll on him draining him of almost all of his KI energy. Gohan had rarely ever trained in his transformed state and he was nowhere near able to control the amount of energy he was wasting while fighting for short periods of time.
On verge of dying Gohan was saved by an orange haired sword wielding teenager. The fifteen year old hybrid knew this teenager very well, he was a student at orange star high and his name was Damian. The Saiyan hybrid knew very well of the power his schoolmate possessed. All though he has part demon, Gohan had noted acted nothing like the first thing you would think of when you hear the word demon. Laying bloody going in and out of conciseness the hybrid Saiyan watched as Damian slipped a small bean into his mouth.

“I’m sure you know what this is, take it and get those wounds healed.” Damian said as he pushed the bean into Gohan’s mouth and the hybrid Saiyan chewed the dry bean and slowly swallowed. Gohan quickly felt all the energy replenish throughout his body now being ready for more combat as he picked himself up. The first thing he noticed was the two figures midair exchanging blows, both giving off unbelievable energy. The grandson of Bardock wasn’t sure why the older Saiyan hadn’t used this transformation before, it was completely mind blowing.

“This is impossible” Gohan whispered under his breath as he was witnessing a power he had never seen before in his life. The orange haired warrior Damian and Gohan were too busy checking out the fight as they failed to realize the attack droids were not completely destroyed.

The mechanical parts on the floor slowly began dragging towards each other perfectly syncing in with one another. The driod was begging to become complete as the appearance was the same as the others except slightly larger and more defined.
“Merging complete” The mechanical being spoke as it locked its sensors onto the two teenage boys that stood in front.

“What the hell” Gohan yelled as the teenage fighters immediately turned around and watched the all powerful driod fusion confront them.

Chapter Nine:
Engage! Sigma-Three

The golden imbued Saiyan hovered before his pain filled foe, Commander Crimson. Bardock had completely out classed the commander, despite his increase in power. The golden haired titan’s emerald eyes looked down upon the agonized commander. Bardock’s eyes were as cold as ice, his anger had become frozen in his eyes. Each time Bardock looked at the commander he could see the faces of his crew, of his sons, of his wife. This scene of terror and death did not bring a lust for battle like it would for most Saiyans, not for Bardock it only brought pain. The losses he suffered in the terrors of war were far too great, but Bardock knew war was a necessary part of what he was destined to do. He knew that battle and mayhem was something he would need to go through to accomplish his goals and he accepted it. But that did not mean Bardock would go easy on those who invoked these forces, Commander Crimson was the first to learn this lesson and he wouldn’t be the last.

“Give up Crimson.” Bardock said as he aimed his right palm towards his pained prey. Bardock looked at Crimson through the spaces between his fingers, the distinct hum of energy filled the air adding to the building tension. Would Bardock take the life of Commander Crimson? That was the question this scene begged.

“You think I will surrender to a Saiyan?” The commander said coughing, blood began to drip from his mouth. One of the commander’s lungs had been punctured by his ribs, it would seem the end was nearing him. Death had called his number.

“Well then, I guess you die.” Bardock said as a sapphire sphere of energy sparked to life before his palm.

“Heh, you’re too cocky, did you really think I wouldn’t have a back up someone or something to ensure my survival? To ensure my escape?” The commander began laughing, more blood came from his mouth. The commander slowly reached into his torn uniform and pulled out a strange remote which held a single button in its center.

“Tch, such a coward.” Bardock said as he slowly lowered his arm, he rolled his hand into a fist dispelling the energy sphere. “If you must run and lick your wounds fine, but if you ever make an attempt like this I will kill you.” Bardock said as his aura flared around his body, adding to his threat.

“You’re so full of yourself Saiyan, but soon you will see my, insurance.” Crimson said with a grin as he pressed the button.

As the events unfolded between Bardock and Crimson things began to occur on Damian and Gohan’s end. The eldest son of Goku, Gohan, had recovered due to the Senzu Bean and was on his feet. Both Damian and Gohan had watched the events unfold between Bardock and Crimson, neither of them could believe the amount of power Bardock was releasing, it was mind boggling. The forty five year old Saiyan was in his fighting prime and far stronger than any Saiyan they had ever seen. Hell Bardock was a Super Saiyan after all, a warrior legend.

Damian slowly shifted his attention from the battle raging in the skies and looked towards the scrap that remained of the twelve robots. That was way too easy. Damian thought as his eyes narrowed. I was able to take them out in one move, yet they were able to take down Gohan in one combined attack and hell Gohan is stronger than I am. Damian was doubting how easy things appeared to be, and he had every right too.

The scrap parts began to float into the air and slowly they conformed with one another and created yet another droid, only this one was even larger and it looked to be more sturdy.

“Merge Complete” The droid said as its eyes flashed a bloody crimson.

“What the hell!?” Gohan shouted as he spun around, finally being drawn to the android’s transformation.

“Great, another one and this one doesn’t look like a push over.” Damian said as he brought is black katana in front of his body, “Well Gohan I hope you’re ready for a fight and I hope you’re as strong as Kami says else we’re screwed.” Damian said laughing.

Suddenly the newly formed android began to glow a sinister red and the Red Ribbon insignia on its chest shinned brightly. The sound of creaking gears and breaking metal filled the air, the android was changing yet again.

“Well this doesn’t look good.” Damian said with a sigh. “Gohan I’m so using you as a meat shield if he attacks me first.” Damian said jokingly. For a half demon Damian was quite the comedian. Damian and Gohan knew each other from school, so Gohan was used to Damian’s antics.

As the android morphed into some new form the events between Bardock and Crimson began to draw to a close. The commander had dropped the controller and was laughing like a crazed man, despite the blood that dripped from his mouth and the pain he experienced. Whatever the commander had done it was serious. Even Bardock had become a little worried.

What the hell did that bastard do? Bardock thought as he stared blankly at the crazed commander. Suddenly the Super Saiyan felt something, a dark energy it was as ominous as Crimson’s but it lacked emotion, whatever it was it lacked a soul. Bardock’s eyes slowly moved away from Crimson and towards the inhuman power. Bardock’s emerald gems came upon a glowing figure in the streets below, the being stood before Gohan and some orange haired swordsman. What in the hell is that thing?

“My ultimate creation, Sigma-Three will destroy you all, he will send you all straight to hell!” Crimson cackled with a crazed laughter.

“Hmph, you’re such an idiot, be glad I don’t have the time to kill you.” Bardock said before he vanished.

“Stupid Saiyan.” Crimson said as he abruptly regained his composure and got to his feet, “Did you get the data?” Crimson said as he pulled out a small receiver built like a microphone.

“Of course I did sir.” A female voice came from the small device.

“Good, now let’s get going, that bastard broke my ribs, I need to get back to the lab to fix myself up. Sigma can deal with them.” Crimson said as he placed his hand against his chest.

“Very well Sir, we will be there in ten seconds, shall we keep the LCS active?”

“Of course you fool, can’t have the Saiyans know we’ve recorded the battle nor do we need them tailing us to base.” Crimson barked.

     “Understood, Viper over and out.”
The red light that enveloped the android subsided revealing a completely different android known as Sigma-Three. One of the commander’s special projects, an android beyond the scope of any of the previous Red Ribbon models, this cyborg had its own level of intelligence, it’s A.I was unmatched. Sigma-Three’s blood red armor glistened in the sun and its black under armor appeared as sleek as seal skin. Sigma’s silver boots and gloves also appeared to be enhanced by the rays of the sun.

“Finally, I am free to kill.” Sigma’s voice belonged to a male that much was for certain and it wasn’t as robotic as its predecessors. Sigma was a whole new kind of robot, I seemed even more advanced than Number Seven and Six. “Son Gohan, Damian Urakari, prepare to die.” Sigma said as he cracked his robot knuckle joints. The sound of churning gears filled the air as the newly formed robot roll its hands into fists and took on a combat stance, the droid looked as if he was ready to charge.

“Great so this tin can knows my name and can talk? Wonder if he has karate chop action.” Damian said in jest as he tightened his grip on his katana. “Well Gohan hope you’re ready!” The carrot topped swordsman shouted as his black and red aura sparked to life around his body, Damian was ready for battle.

As Damian prepared for combat Bardock touched down behind Sigma-Three, his golden aura tracing his body like a stencil. Bardock’s sea green eyes were focused upon the energy emitting automaton. So this is Sigma-Three huh? Well I hope he’s not as weak as Crimson.

“So the Super Saiyan’s arrived.” Sigma said as he withdrew his combat stance, “Good then I kill him first.” With that Sigma vanished from Bardock’s line of sight. Without a wasted second the black and red cyborg appeared behind the Super Saiyan. Sigma’s right fist crashed into the center of Bardock’s back and sent him flying past Damian and Gohan and straight into the ruins Gohan once called home.

“What the hell!?” Damian shouted as Bardock crashed into the ruins, “Are you freaking kidding me!? That bastard got the drop on a Super Saiyan? Damn it! Guess I have no choice but to use Damon’s power.” Damian said as he stomped his tabi clad foot into the ground. “Well here goes!” Damian shouted as he brought his left hand over his face. The black and red aura that once flared around his body began to amass before Damian’s hand. The energy began to mold around Damian’s face. Once the energy had taken it place Damian pulled his hand downward in a ferocious manner. A strange mask covered in strange red markings on its left side appeared upon the eighteen year old’s face. Damian’s eyes had changed as well, the whites of his eyes had become jet black and his irises had become a sinister yellow. The half demon released a mighty roar as the mouth of the mask ripped open as if it had actually become Daman’s face.

Within an instant Damian’s power had tripled, his dark aura began to seep out into the ground, it permeated the air its darkness. The newly masked warrior cut through the air with his blade and released yet another battle cry, his voice sounded gargled as if it was being run through an auto tune machine. Though another way it could be described was that it sounded as if it was being dragged through the ocean or through the blades of rotating fan.

“Now die Sigma!” Damian roared as he lurched forward , the ground caved from the pressure. Damian raced towards the red android at an insane level of speed, his black katana cut through the ground like a fissure. As the speedy swordsman neared his prey he brought his energy enhanced blade overhead, “Akuma Shuuha!” Damian roared as he brought his blade in a downward arc. The pent up energy that had made its home around Damian’s blade and body exploded forth, tearing apart the already war torn pavement. The crimson and black mass of energy crashed into Sigma-Three and sent a tempest of dust and debris in all directions. It completely blanketed the battlefield, but was it enough to destroy the cyborg? If Sigma-Three was able to get the drop on a Super Saiyan just what hope did Damian Urakari, a half demon, have? Could Damian have defeated the android in fell swoop? Well the chances of that were minimal but with the power Damian had inherited from his other self the idea was indeed plausible, but not likely. Damian may’ve been the Akki Ryuuza on this reality but he was far weaker than his other self, the one who’d completely eradicated the Senkai. The one who’d slain the mighty horseman Pestilence, the one who was capable of standing up to Commander Salvia of the Planetary Trade Organization, though in time Damian would become that warrior, he would become the ultimate Akki Ryuuza, but today wouldn’t be that day Damian knew it and so did everyone else.

Chapter Ten:
The Final Act

Dust and debris sifted through the remains of the burning city, chaos continued to control the streets. The ground quaked in fear of the chaos that crept through the city streets and the foundations of buildings. Hell had truly taken root in this once glorious and life abundant city. Only part of the city remained intact and capable of sustaining life. What would happen to Orange Star City once this hell had been vanquished and sent back to the fiery pits from whence it came? Would the town rebuild and strive to become just as grand and luxurious as before? Or would it crumble under the pressure and fall away into the darkness? Only time would tell.

The massive wave of energy Damian had set loose upon Sigma – Three found its way to obscurity as it faded from reality. The dust and debris that once blanketed the streets soon followed suit and in the smokescreens’ shroud a figure could be seen. The figure was vague yet overly obvious, both Damian and Gohan knew Sigma – Three was alive and in prime condition. Obviousness of the situation caused Damian’s body quiver like a leaf caught in a gentle breeze. The masked half demon’s sinister eyes lost their fiery passion and succumbed to fear. The legendary Akki Ryuuza was actually experiencing fear, could that really be possible?

“Not bad human, your power is indeed grand.” Sigma’s voice came from the ominous smokescreen, it was followed by a sickening laugh. “But it’s too bad it doesn’t mean shit before my power.” Sigma said as the smokescreen dispersed, dispelled by some unknown force.

The crimson clad cyborg slowly rolled his black hands into fists and the sound of cracking knuckles filled the air. The ground below Sigma’s feet began to shake, one might think it was being subjected to a small Earthquake too small to be detected on a scale. Sigma slowly bent is knees and leaned forward, “Now you die.” Sigma’s words were barely audible but they still struck Damian with a paralyzing fear.

The dreadlocked warrior kicked forward, he moved at a speed that would make any normal creature go cross-eyed. The red clad cyborg was speeding towards the fear gripped Damian, his right fist had been cocked back it was painfully obvious what Sigma was going for. Within a span of two seconds the red machine appeared before Damian his right fist careening forward like a rocket through the atmosphere.

     crack!.

A thundering sound shook the streets as Sigma’s fist came to a halt, stopped by a golden imbued hand. Someone had stopped Sigma’s punch just in time to save Damian from a world of pain no human should ever have to experience.

“Nice moves kid, but you let fear take hold of you, such an amateur mistake.” Bardock was the one who’d saved the masked half demon, he was the one who’d done the impossible and caught Sigma’s strike. “Now then I will take things from here, can’t have a coward getting in my way.” Bardock’s emerald eyes came to rest upon the crimson clad cyborg.

“So you’re still alive?” Sigma said as he forced his hand from Bardock’s grip, “Well I’ll just have to change that.” Sigma said as he kicked backwards in an attempt to get some distance between himself and the power packed Super Saiyan.

“Heh, just so you know that first hit you got was a freebie.” Bardock said as he wiped some blood from his lip, “From here on in you won’t land another hit, wanna know why?” Bardock said as he a grin spread across his lips.

Sigma answered Bardock with silence, the cyborg was accessing the situation, trying to figure out a way to defeat the Super Saiyan. However Sigma’s computerized brain was unable to recognize the only way to win would be to escape and fight another day, for Bardock’s true power was beyond that of any Earthly being.

“Silence huh? Well then, guess I have no choice but to show you!” Bardock roared as his arms flared outward. A hellish crimson aura sparked around the father of Goku, his skin attained a red hue and so did his once Golden hair. Bardock’s emerald eyes returned to a raven black as too did his once golden eye brows. Bardock had tapped into the power of the Super Kaioken, a technique he normally used while in the Giji Super Saiyan state. Now all of Bardock’s physical abilities had been increased by one fourth of their previous capacities, in short Bardock had gone beyond his previous limits.

The Kaioken augmented titan kicked forward, his once golden aura trailed behind him like jet exhaust. Bardock traveled at a speed that no human could dream of comprehending. The space around the traveling warrior began to distort, his power twisted the very air. As Bardock neared he rotated his upper torso and clenched his fight fist. The father of Goku bared his teeth and swung his right fist into Sigma’s jaw, the sound of creaking metal filled air as his knuckles made impact. The crimson clad warrior was knocked off his feet and sent flying into the azure sky, his inhuman body unable to bare the pressure.

“I’m far from done!” Bardock declared as he gave chase to his sky high prey.

Bardock came upon Sigma – Three and took hold of the cyborg’s left ankle. The empowered Super Saiyan pulled Sigma’s body in front of him and sent his fist forward, it crashed into the cyborg’s plated torso. The fist wasn’t contested in the least, so its full force reverberated through Sigma’s body. Bardock withdrew his fist only to release another strike, this one was even more devastating than the last so much so it drove through the cyborg’s armor plating. Bardock’s fist had been driven home, it could be seen on the opposite side of Sigma’s body. Like a sword Bardock’s fist had run through Sigma – Three.

“Pathetic, couldn’t even test me.” Bardock said as he forced his fist from the Cyborg. “Well guess you’ll have to be recycled.” The victorious Super Saiyan said as he took aim at the falling Cyborg. Bardock’s right hand took on the imitation of a good, like a child would when playing cops and robbers. Cyan energy began to sparkle around Bardock’s extended index finger, a slight smile formed on Bardock’s lips as the familiar hum of energy filled the air.

     “Bang.”

An azure light as bright as the very sun overtook the sky as an enormous energy wave was released from Bardock’s finger tip. The blast consumed Sigma’s body whole, like a shark would a small fish. The blast left no apparent trace of the cyborg as the light dissipated and as the ambient energy from existence it became clear Bardock had won.

Orange Star City had been saved, but what would the city do now? Would they be able to rebuild? The devastation that befell the city would be remembered by it citizens for years to come, but hopefully it would drive them to grow stronger as people. Hopefully they would be able to rebuild and continue their way of life. But somehow Bardock more so than anyone else knew that this was harder said than done, war and death left scars on a man’s soul. But Bardock was learning that these scars could be mended they could become nothing more than learning experiences, they could be reasons to grow stronger rather than limiters. The scars that Bardock had, the deaths of his comrades, his sons and his wife had actually pushed him beyond his limits. Through the scars of the past and with the dying wishes of his comrades Bardock had become a Super Saiyan.
